What happens when you take a talented man skilled in an innovative art form and put him in a mall with a group of artists and 100,000 balloons?  You get Balloon Manor!

Larry Moss, Manor Founder and Artistic Director, labels his art airigami and holds the Guiness World’s Record for the largest non-round balloon sculpture.   His balloon creations have been displayed all over the world and documented on CNN and in this video, aired on PBS:

This year, Balloon Manor is coming to the Mall at Greece Ridge. The attraction takes almost a week to mount and draws on the talents of hundreds of volunteers and balloon artists from as far away as Japan, Ecuador and Israel.

Scare U: Ghoul School is this year’s theme and features “a frightfully funny monster college with classes in Anti-Social Studies, Under-World History, Inhumanities and more.”   Not only is this Halloween attraction fun for the whole family,  but since the first one was created in 2004, the Manors have raised $80,000 in funds for local health organizations.  Proceeds from 2008 will go to Teens Living with Cancer.

Advance tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, and are available online and at all Wegmans That’s T.H.E. Ticket! locations. Tickets will be available at the door as well: $10 for adults, $6 for children 12 and under.  Groups of 15 or more can schedule tours in advance. To order tickets online CLICK HERE.
