It’s that holiday time of year again and the Craft Antique Co-op gets in the spirit of Christmas Past, Present and Future with their Annual Dickens Festival Celebration. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. Saturday morning with live holiday music. Light refreshments will be served both Saturday and Sunday. This weekend only, you can “spirit away” some gifts at special discounted prices and as you shop, be on the lookout for Tiny Tim, Marley, and even ole Scrooge himself!
If you have never visited the Craft Antique Co-op, you’re in for a treat. It’s a magical emporium that brings together over 150 shopkeepers offering handmade works by local artisans, food items, new, vintage and antique collectibles, new and antique furniture, home accents and much more. Last year, I was able to check off several of the “shopping challenges” on my list. For example, I found a beautiful collectible knife with a carved eagle handle for one nephew and a talking Shrek figurine for another (both were thrilled). It’s also a great place to look for stocking stuffers! They advertise 10,000 gifts for under $10, and I think that’s an underestimation.
