On Sunday, December 7, the charming Canal port town of Spencerport puts on its holiday finery to celebrate Christmas Canal-style with horse-drawn hayrides, festive foods, a living Nativity, a craft tent for Children, a visit from Santa and a Candlelight Caroling Stroll.

This event is FREE, but there is a minimal ($2-adults, $1-Children under 12) charge for the horsedrawn hayrides, which can be boarded at the canal bridge.

In addition, the Spencerport Community Chorus Concert will perform at the White Church from 3:00 – 4:00.

Help Santa deliver gifts to the Troops

For those who wish to contribute gifts to the men and women in the military, a collection will be taken at the Spencerport Trolley Depot between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Suggested items include travel size toiletries, writing pads and pens, hard candy/gum, dried fruits and nuts, puzzle books and magazines, books, travel games, powdered drink mixes, cheese/peanut crackers and energy bars.
