If you’ve been thinking you need to reward yourself with some fun, Don Stevens and Scott Mackey of Wick-edly Sent, in Canandaigua NY are hosting a Girls Night Out at their store on Thursday, April 30th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
For those who may not be familiar with Wick-edly Sent, it’s an all-natural soap and candle company that was started by Don and Scott in Maryland in 2003. In 2005, they moved their business and its operations to beautiful Canandaigua, NY, where they sell wholesome soap and candle products at retail and wholesale. They will also design custom orders.
They have an amazing selection of items, including bath and body products, essential oils, scented soy candles, room deodorizers, olive oil soaps, and more, in a delightful assortment of fragrances, all hand-made in Canandaigua. None of the products are tested on animals.
Another novelty in their shop is the aroma bar. If you have difficulty finding the perfect fragrance that expresses you, you can create your own fragrance at the bar by mixing essential oils that express your individuality.
April 30th will mark their 4th Annual Girls Night Out, which has become a tradition that women in and around the Finger Lakes look forward to each year. The event typically draws around 250 to 300 women who come for the fun, the pampering (free massages and manicures), the networking, the food and wine, the door prizes, and for the opportunity to support a local charitable organization. There is no admission fee to this event, but generous local merchants donate prizes for a raffle, and all proceeds go to support a local charity focused on women. This year, proceeds will be donated to Sojourner House in Rochester, NY.
Wick-edly Sent is located at 94 South Main Street in Canandaigua, NY.
