Black Music Month flyer reduced

If you love Gospel, Reggae, Blues, R&B, Soul, Rap or any other form of Black Music, you’ll want to Hip Hop your way down to  21 Gorham Street off St. Paul St. in Rochester, NY. on Saturday June 6 where RCTV15 is hosting its first annual Black Music Month Celebration between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Carvin Eisen, the station’s General Manager shared, “In 2002, June was proclaimed Black Music Month. We’ve been thinking about holding a Black Music Month Celebration for a while now, and we’re really looking forward to it. ”

Rick Osborn, the program manager at RCTV15 has been involved in recruiting the performers.  “We have 22 different performance groups and what’s really interesting about this is that the program celebrates pretty much the entire history of black music.”

What can you expect?  Great music, delicious food, community vendors and lots of fun! 

The celebration will take place in the parking lot of RCTV15, Rochester’s Public Access Community Television Station and parking will be available on the street.
